Annabelle stormed through Seattle, her feet bare. Her eyes glowed a bright ruby red that she loved to see...the color of blood, the color of what she was. A vampire.
But recently, she had been thinking of the decisions that had caused what she was...not hers, but his. The doctor's. So different from the one in Forks. He only changed her and kept her until he found a new pupil.
"I will make it go away, my child."
The memory made her stop in her tracks. Then she remembered the pain that followed her last cough. The burning--no, searing!--pain that shot through her body for the next three days.
Why couldn't she forget that one memory? The memory that had doomed her to eternal...what? Youth? No. That was idiotic. Youth was blissful. Life was hard. Eternal life. It was a fate that she hated. Why did he decide on her? Why let her live?

Sylvia walked down the street, window shopping. She was just looking around because she had nothing better to do today. Suddenly, Sylvie ran into a young woman. "I'm sorry about that." she said. "I didn't mean to run into you, I just wasn't watching where I was going."

Annabelle whipped around as something warm warm ran into her. A loud hiss escaped her as she did, glaring at the woman who had. She was tensed even when the human spoke. What was the problem with mortals? Always running into things! It was distasteful, to say the least. "Obviously..." she growled, clenching her hands into fists at her sides. "Next time you should be more careful."

Sylvia jumped back a little when the girl hissed. She nodded slowly in agreement. "Yeah I really think so." All she wanted was to run, to get out of there but she couldn't move.
