"Oh baby don't you know I suffer?

Lily tossed her hair over one shoulder as she walked in the doors of the main building in Forks High. She'd never been to a muggle high school before, and boy was it cool!
She had never seen so many guys getting along in one place as she did here. At Hogwarts there were people who hated each other because of their houses. Now there were no barriers, basically. No dorms, just classrooms.
A loud wolf whistle echoed through the room as she passed a group of boys in football uniforms. Lily's cheeks burned pink. Muggles were so strange!
Maybe it was because of the fact that she was still wearing part of her uniform, the tops and bottom, at least. And the skirt cut off above her knees. Thank goodness she had good legs or that would've been embarrassing. She had altered the skirt for Hogwarts, so boys would pay attention when she wanted a date. But no one did, with the robes and such.
"Hey, you're a new girl, aren't you?" a boy flagged her with a wave. Lily shook her head and kept walking.
Maybe it wasn't a good idea to come today.
