Okay, she officially hated being on a Quidditch team while in another country. She had to practice...alone, no matter where she was. And people would watch. When she could hear them during a lone drill, she would hear things like "That's the Potter girl," "Why is she here?" "Doesn't she go to Hogwarts?" "I heard she's a Ravenclaw!" It was suckish. She didn't like being talked about like that. She liked being talked about for other reasons. Like how she looked or her performance in the latest match. But no...it was because she was a Potter in America playing Quidditch by herself. And the school had no uniform! So she had to dress like a muggle even in classes. "Stupid."

Ren hurried down to the pitch, beaming. Her dad ROCKED! He had sent her a new broom! It was one of the brand spanking new models that wasn't even available in the States yet. And all because he missed coming home for her birthday. Sure, she was pretty bummed about that, but now she had a broom of her own! Flying was one of the things she loved the most about being a witch. Ren even had a natural talent for it. As she arrived at the pitch, Ren was surprised to see someone else flying around. With a shrug, she mounted her broom and kicked off, zooming up to where they were. "Hey!" She called out. "Can I interest you in a little one-on-one?"

Lily did a barrel-roll in the air, holding her beater's bat tightly in one hand as she did so. Her Firebolt 380 obliging to her will happily. The wood tingled under her hand...or maybe it was the cold getting to her. Either way she was getting more and more used to the American air. Even though it was never sunny when she was there. Lily had started on another roll when the other girl flew up beside her. Her red hair hung in the air below her hair. "You want to play a one-on-one with me?" she asked, her British accent showing through in all its glory. "Are you sure about that?"

Ren wasn't sure why this fiery British redhead was so surprised that someone wanted to play against her. She was obviously good, and Ren hadn't had any good competition in a while. "No, with your grandma," Ren said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "Of course you! And why the hell shouldn't I be sure? You look like a good player, and I'm really hyper and have nothing better to do with my time. So," she said, grinning mischievously "Are you game?"

"No promises I'll go easy on you. James is never easy on me and it's rubbed off on me," Lily smirked, gliding to the ground to fetch a quaffle. "Not many people want to play with me, that's why I was surprised," She called up to the girl. "To warn you, I play Beater for Ravenclaw," she confided when she came back up.

Ren grinned. This girl was tough. Eeexcellent! "Wait, you play Beater?" Ren asked. "Well, da-ham. I'm a beater, too." Beater was really the best position to put Ren in. That way, she could legally hit things at people, and be appreciated for it. Besides, her werewolf-induced buffness came in handy when you want to get the Bludgers across the field. "I'm Ren, by the way." Then she realized what the redhead had said. "Wait, Ravenclaw? Isn't that one of the houses at Hogwarts?"

"Yes, there isn't a Ravenclaw here, is there?" Lily asked rhetorically. "I go to Hogwarts but sometimes take classes in America, you know, take time away from the siblings," she shrugged. "And the stories of your father," she muttered. "Promise you won't flip out if I tell you my name?" the Ravenclaw whispered to Ren, looking around like she was about to confess to a murder.

((Oh, i didn't know FA had the same houses as Hogwarts. *realizes what this means* THERE ARE HOUSES?!?!? SAWEET!!!)))
Ren shrugged. "Don't blame me, I'm new here," she said. She barely knew any of her classes, let alone the houses. She was in...Gryffindor, or something like that. She honestly couldn't remember, nor did she care. "Huh." It would be cool to just be able to go to America (or in her case, England) whenever you felt like it to go to school. When the girl asked her not to flip out, she flew closer. "Girl Scout Honor," she said, doing the Scout pledge sign. Ren had been a Girl Scout for all of 10 minutes. Then she promptly quit-- and demanded to join the Boy Scouts.

Lily flew a little closer with a devilish smile and giggled before leaning forward and whispering. "The name's Lily. As in Lily Luna..." she paused. She was scared of what Ren would think at the fact that she was a Potter girl. Would he friendship be used for status and perks? She hoped not. "Lily Potter."
((Haha, suckish drama leading up to a suckish climax! Ta-dum! *hides in shame of her post*))

Potter...Potter...now why did that name sound so d**n familiar? Ren racked her brain for a minute trying to figure out why that name was important. It had something to do with wizards (obviously, or it wouldn't have come from a girl on a flying broomstick) but what? God, she knew it was important. Ren finally turned to Lily, looking sheepish. "Okay, you're not gonna be mad if I tell you that name means absolutely nothing to me, are you?" She asked. Nata knew this was something important to the girl, which made her feel bad that her memory was just awful.
((Ha, Ren's such a clueless loser. Gotta love her *snuggles ren-TA*))
