Miyoko had rushed back to the dorm room as soon as she and Leo had parted company. She hurriedly applied a tiny amount of mascara and stood in front of the full-size mirror, adjusting her outfit. As soon as that was done, she quickly brushed through her curly hair and pulled it into a neat pony-tail. She shook it out so the bangs fell to the sides of her face, framing it nicely. She took a few deep breaths and stepped out of the dorm, heading to the dining hall. She walked slowly, not wanting to get there too soon and have to wait longer to see him. She smiled at the thought of Leo. She glanced at her watch. She still had five minutes. She rounded the corner and stood below the awning of the dining hall. Though she'd seen it many times before, the huge, intricately decorated hall still managed to take her breath away. She strode over to the Ravenclaw table, waving at Max and Ren who were sitting at the Griffindor table. Once she reached her house's table, she sat down and waited for Leo.

As soon as Leo left Miyoko, he picked up some speed and went to his dorm. He looked at the mirror, and looked at his hair. Leo loved having his hair shaggy, and in his eyes. He shaggyed up his hair a little bit more, and moved a few hairs away from his eyes. He then sat down on his bed, and thought. What should he ask her? How should he act? These questions were racing through Leo's head, his stomach fluttered just thinking about her. The way Miyoko smiled, the way she laughed, the way she smiled, her accent...just the way Miyoko did things her way, Leo just loved. He cleared his head and remembered what his Grandfather had told him..."No matter what, always be who you are and the right people will come your way..." So he decided that he would just be himself around Miyoko and if it turned out that she didn't like the way he was himself, no matter how much it would crush him, he would know that she is just not the right person for him. Oh how Leo doubted that that would really be the case, Miyoko didn't seem like that kind of person, but he was just preparing for himself. After a while, he walked out of his dorm, and checked the time. He had 5 minutes to get to the dinning hall and meet up with Miyoko. Leo picked up his pace to get his butt to the dinning hall, he wanted to be with Miyoko, the 15 minutes almost seemed like an hour. When he got to the beauteous dinning hall, he scanned to look for Miyoko. When he saw her sitting at the Ravenclaw table of course, her hair was now in a ponytail, she looked even more radiant. Leo approached her, with a smile on his face he sat down across from her. "Hey." he greeted her. Oh please god, have this be as good as it seems He thought, well, more like prayed.

Miyoko sat for only three minutes, but it felt like an eternity. She began doubting if he would even show up. She didn't deserve someone as beautiful as him anyway, so she shouldn't be that disappointed. She was just about to give up hope and go sit with Max and Ren when she saw him. Her face lit up and she watched him walk to the table and sit across from her. She nearly melted at the sight of him. "Hey Leo," Miyoko smiled. She still couldn't believe that this wasn't a dream. The plates of food were all around them, so she grabbed some veggies off of a plate near her. She smiled at him and nibbled on a carrot.

Leo returned Miyoko's brilliant smile with one of his own. As she got some veggies, he got some potatoes and ham from another plate near by. Miyoko looked stunning as ever, her curls neatly put in a perfect ponytail with her bangs to the side. He couldn't seem to keep his eyes off her, while he ate, he had to look down at his plate, and each time he had to he absolutely cringed and hated it. I don't wanna look down at this plate of food when I can look at Miyoko's stunning beauty He thought. "So how do you like it here at Forks Academy of Magic?" Leo asked her. Leo wanted to get to know everything he could about her, and how the U.S. was turning out for her. He felt silly, how so many questions he wanted to ask her but picked his first to be something sort of predictable. Leo thought she looked very adorable the way she nibbled on her carrort. No...adorable sounded childish...more like cute or hot. He chuckled in his mind to himself, he had never thought this way about anyone before.

Miyoko grimaced. "It is not as sunny as Korea. But I like people here," Miyoko smiled to herself. Especially him. "Learning magic is good, and overall I like Forks." Miyoko loved the sound of Leo's voice. His thick French accent sounded beautiful with his deep voice. She dished some potatoes on her own plate and ate them with cherry sauce. "What about you? Do you like Forks Academy?"

Leo returned a similar grimace that Miyoko had given him earlier. "It's ok, the classes are good. It's much easier to enroll here then the Academy in Paris. The curriculum is much harder, my Grandfather knew a professor their, and got some of the things that they teach their when I was living with him in Paris. Overall, the school is great, and so are the people." Leo replied to her. He especially thought that the Miyoko was a great person. "So what was life like for you in Korea, if you don't mind me asking." Leo asked her. He didn't quite know what life was like for her in her country, and sometimes he didn't really like talking about his native country, sometimes it got too overwhelming remembering life in Paris. And he didn't want to push her too tell him something she might not be willing to share.

Miyoko smiled. His grandfather sounded nice, "Were you close with your grandfather?" When Leo asked about her life in Korea, she looked down at her plate. "Well," Miyoko started, "I liked in South Korea. I loved my brother very much, and spent the most time with him. I painted and watched water fall. Life was not very different except for sun. I miss sun." She laughed, "But I learn to love rain now."

Leo smiled when she asked him about his Grandfather. "Yes, He practically raised me." He answered her question. wow...I miss grandpa... He thought. Leo was glad to hear that life was good for her back in South Korea and here in the U.S. "That's just one of the downfalls to Forks, it's a lovely place. I actually think the gloominess can actually help people see the true beauty of everything around them." He smiled at her, he also loved the rain at times, it had it's own song of the different drips and drops of the rain on the trees, houses and everything else around them. Leo loved how Miyoko had laughed about how since she can't really have the sun anymore and learned to love the way, and he laughed along with her. "Rain is quite unique and beautiful if you think about it. It has it's own voice, like with the different drips and drops." Leo felt a blush rise to his face as he said that, he hoped he didn't sound pathetic.

Miyoko wondered what he meant by his grampa raising him,but she didn't say anything, it wasn't very important for her to know. "I think all the green is very pretty," Miyoko commented. There were a lot of plants and greenery in Korea as well, but not as much as here in Forks. Her mouth dropped open at his poetic interpretation of the rain. "That is very beautiful, Leo," She almost whispered. She'd never met such a sensitive, beautiful guy. She was positive this would turn out to be too good to be true, but if it wasn't, then she would be the happiest person in the world.

Leo felt himself blush a little redder. He was glad that Miyoko thought his thought on rain was beautiful. He'd always had a natural ability to be descriptive, especially with poetry. His Grandfather encouraged and praised him for his gift with words, while his father just thought it was plain useless. Leo never really understood why his father never liked him, and he knew he would never know. "I think the green is beautiful too." Leo agreed with Miyoko. Leo had never met someone like her, such a beautiful and a bit fragile creature she seemed to be. He loved everything about her, and he knew that she was the one who seemed to understand him. Leo had come across many other girls, but they always went all ga-ga over him, which was quite annoying since he could never have an actual civil conversation with them, but Miyoko was different. Leo could actually have an actual conversation with her, and not just have someone in a daze and just nodding. Leo then realized that he had just unintentionally leaned in a little closer to Miyoko as they were talking, with such little distance between them. He also realized that he was done eating, but he didn't want to leave Miyoko, Leo wanted to stay with her. "Would you like to go on a walk?" he asked her, he felt nervous yet comfortable at the same time...

Miyoko knew that they were both done eating, but she enjoyed Leo's company too much, and she didn't want to leave. When he asked if she wanted to go for a walk, she brightened and nodded. "I would love that!" She exclaimed. She looked into his eyes, then tore herself away to stand up. "Shall we go to the herbology classroom?" The herbology classroom wasn't actually a room. It was a really big greenhouse, much like a garden. It was always filled with the most beautiful flowers and the most interesting species of plants. Herbology was a hobby of Miyoko's, and also one of her favorite subjects.

Leo's face brightened when Miyoko said yes, and he then knew that she also enjoyed being with him as he did with her. When her beautiful almost pitch black eyes met his, his heart skipped a beat and started to race. He was surprised that his heart didn't just burst right out of his chest! Leo loved staring into Miyoko's eyes. He loved how he saw so much warmth, happiness, and something else that he couldn't quite put his finger on it, each time their eyes met. But, Leo was a bit disappointed when she broke the connection. "We shall." He replied to Miyoko when she asked him if they could go to the greenhouse. Leo lent his arm out for only her to take it, and then they would be onward to their walk.

Miyoko smiled when she noticed how happy Leo was at her answer. When Leo offered his arm, Miyoko giggled and took it. "What a gentlemen you are," She teased. She wondered why her English seemed so much better around Leo. Maybe she was just imagining that it was better. Though, maybe it was because she was so much less nervous around Leo, and he made her feel so good about herself. While they were walking to the greenhouse, Miyoko wondered idly what Leo saw in her. Miyoko thought that she was one of the most boring people you could ever meet. Leo seemed to be the exact opposite. He was fun, charming, and sweet. "Do you like flowers?" Miyoko asked, seeing as they were on their way to the greenhouse.

Leo beamed at Miyoko. He liked how confident she sounded, and was it just him, or did it seem that her English had gotten a lot better?! Leo loved the way their arms were conjoined, and he loved how she thought he was a gentlemen. "Why thank you for the compliment dear lady" he jokingly replied in a capital tone. Though some others may think that Miyoko was boring or quiet, he saw just a soft spoken, sweet, beautiful girl with marvelous ideas in mind, she just needed to learn how to share them with others. "I love flowers" Leo replied to her question "Some seem so delicate, with each petal looking as though touching it, it may break, yet with other flowers, they have armor of their own." Leo explained. He blushed, he didn't mean to always sound poetic, but crafty writing had always just come natural to him, it was like a sixth sense for him. "What do you think about flowers?" Leo asked Miyoko as they continued onward on their walk.

Miyoko felt what seemed like electricity between them as she and Leo touched. She giggled at his reply to her comment about him being a gentleman. Miyoko realized that she was gaping at Leo while she was listening to his beautiful words, so she quickly looked away, smiling. With other guys, she would have assumed that they were trying to sound so poetic, but with Leo it seemed so...so natural. It seemed like a second language to him. "Well, I wish I could spin words like you and make my opinions sound beautiful, but all I can say is that I love flowers. I love the different colours and styles. It is so beautiful, it always makes me feel so good inside," Miyoko breathed in deeply. There were huge windows, and it had just rained, so it smelled so fresh.
