Jasper had been away from Alice almost a day now. It was as hard to stay away from her as it was to not feed. The burning of desire to see her just kept growing and growing. He flitted into the family room and sat on the couch. He was sure that she would either smell him or see him and be here soon. He smiled at the mere thought of seeing her again.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Alice walked in the house carring a few shopping bags, having just gotten back from a much needed shopping trip with Bella, knowing who was inside waiting for her by their ever-so-familiar scent and set down her bags at the door. She skipped into the family room merrily, spotting Jasper seated on the couch, and hurriedly made her way over to where he was. She kissed him on the cheek and sat down next to him, leaning on his shoulder.
"Hi, Jazzybear,"
[/color] she hummed, grinning up at him. "I apologize for being gone so long. I feel terrible about it, knowing what I probably put you through. But, of course, Bella ran out of 'cute' clothes to wear, and needed an emergency trip." [/b] She sighed, fidgeting with a bracelet around her wrist before looking up into his eyes again. Jasper watched as Alice danced into the room and sat next to him. He felt warmed with love every time he saw her. "Hello Alice," He replied to her, smiling. Then he listened to her spiel about Bella's clothing, knowing well that Bella would rather Alice not get her all these designer clothes that she did. He watched her fiddle with her bracelet, then said she had missed him. He smiled and kissed the top of her head. "I missed you too," He whispered.
Jasper stroked her hair and looked into her eyes, seeing the same golden colour as his. "So what are you forcing upon Bella this time?"

"Well, she doesn't seem to want to keep the clothes I pick out for her," she mumbled, not understanding Bella. "You'd think after so many years of knowing me, she'd get it. And she can't wear all that dreadful clothing while being the beautiful vampire she is... but anyway, so we had an entire episode of getting her some suitable clothing, and some for Edward, too." She gave him a little wink. "I don't know where she is now, though... probably escaped to go find Edward and complain." She nestled herself on Jasper's chest, sighing contently.

Jasper laughed. Alice always had some complaint about Bella's wardrobe of choice. "You're just going to have to learn to appreciate Bella's sense of fashion or you're going to go crazy," Jasper smiled, shaking his head. He traced her hand and brushed some hair away from her face.

"You're just going to have to learn to appreciate Bella's sense of fashion or you're going to go crazy." That was true. This wouldn't probably bug her into insanity. "But Jazz, how can I appreciate her sense of fashion if she doesn't have one?" She really didn't. Her idea of an outfit was sweatpants and a tank top.
Alice giggled a little at his touch. She looked up into his eyes for another moment before speaking again. "Must be awful lonely here... the house is empty," she mumbled, inspecting the hollowness of the large house. "You know, we should do something today. Are you good on thirst? We could go hunting, or whatever. Tell you what, you can choose."
[/color] She knew it was always her that tended to choose their activities, but for once she was giving Jasper the choice. Alice didn't know how he'd fair choosing for himself instead of going along with whatever Alice wanted. He tended to not think too much of what he wanted.

Jasper's only response was to laugh again. "Anywhere is lonely without you," Jasper smiled. Then Alice mentioned what their plans for the day was. "Well, hunting sounds fine to me, I don't mind what we do," Jasper said, thinking, anything is fine as long as I'm with you.. Alice did usually decide what they did during the day, and Jasper didn't mind that. Usually he was up for anything she suggested.

[/color] she mumbled, placing a soft kiss on his lips. He was sometimes overly sweet with her, not that she didn't like it. That was one of the plethora of reasons for why she loved him.
"Hunting it is,"[/color] she announced, jumping up quickly. But then she got another thought. "...unless you'd rather stay here,"[/color] she spoke again, her soprano voice purposefully sang in a provocative manner. She looked him hopefully, but stood, willing to do whatever he'd decide.

Jasper grinned widely. Jokingly, he put out his hands as if weighing something on a scale, "Hmm...Hunting, or...staying here," He said, using the same provocative tone Alice had used. He moved closer to her and took her face in his hands, kissing her passionately. "What do you think?" He raised one eyebrow suggestively.

She was awfully surprised when he kissed her. He didn't often go right to a kiss like that, though of course Alice enjoyed it immensely. She kissed him back briefly before he pulled away to speak to her.
"What do you think?" She grinned at him and sat back down beside him promptly. "I guess we're staying here," she hummed. Staying here alone, without the others... yes. She looked at him, and after a while she found herself playing with his golden hair, twirling in around her finger.

Jasper laughed. Then he realized that he had asked Sunny to come today to meet everyone. Recently he had been meeting a lot of carnivores and he'd started to try to convince some of them to convert to animal blood. He'd met a carnie the other day and wound up inviting her to meet the rest of the clan. Without a clue as to why he'd done that, he'd forgotten to tell everyone. It had sort of pushed itself to the back of his mind. "Wait, I forgot," Jasper said, smiling apologetically, "I invited company over for today."
