Jasper decided to drive back to his old school, even though running would have gotten him there faster. He was driving Rosalie's red convertible. He pulled in smoothly to the parking spot they always used when he went here. He got out and sat on the hood. He smiled as he stared at the buildings he used to go to school in. It had only been a couple of years since he'd graduated from here and added another graduation cap to the wall. He sighed. He usually didn't think so much about the schools he'd gone to, but now he'd been in Forks for so long. He was thinking about visiting some teachers. He started to walk up the stairs and stopped just outside the doors, waiting for school to get out so he could go in.

Lindsey sat in English...the last hour of the day. She was so bored. The note she was passing to Emily was taken by the teacher because, 'you're supposed to pay attention.' God! This day was going sooooo slow. 'I like hope something fun like happens today.' Lindz thought to herself. Finally, the bell rang and Lindsey was the first one out of the class. She raced to her locker and threw her stuff in it. 'Only like one more day to like go before the like weekend!' she thought happily.

About a second or two before the bell rang, Jasper opened the door and walked into the school. He had a couple of favorite teachers. He also knew that teachers liked to know if their old students did well after high school. He figured he'd talk about his time at Harvard or something. On his way to his old math teacher's room, he nearly ran into some blond girl. She seemed to be in a rush to get out of the school. If it weren't for his vampiric senses, theymost likely would have collided. "Excuse me," He smiled and said to her.

Lindsey was heading out when someone almost ran into her. Lindie, being the dumb one that she is stared in wonder at the man who almost ran into her. "How like did you like stop like so fast?" she asked.

Jasper frowned. "It wasn't that fast, I simply stepped out of the way." He smiled again, "I'm Jasper, I used to go here."

Lindsey nodded. "Ummmmmmmmmmmm like okay then?" She sighed. Was this going to be a boring conversation? "Like hi Jasper. I'm like Lindsey. This is like the school I go to...and the one like you went to." She rolled her eyes, sounding really bored.

Jasper noted that Lindsey sounded bored and put the word 'like' into her sentences too much. Internally he grimaced. He hated talking to people like this. "Well, I can see I'm wasting your valuable time, I'll let you go," Jasper said in his honey-sweet voice.

Lindsey shook her head. "No like you like don't have to like go. I'm just like a little like cranky because like it's the end of the like day."

Jasper paused as he was leaving. He hadn't been planning on chatting, he just would've felt rude if he hadn't introduced himself. He decided that he didn't want to feel rude anyway, so he figured he would catch up on what was happening in the school. "Well, what's new in the school these days?"
